EALL Celebrates our Golden Anniversary in 2019

In 1939, Carl Stotz envisioned a baseball program to give his young nephews an opportunity to play the sport they loved but were too young to participate. It was through his dedication to the youngsters in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, that the Little League Baseball program was founded. It wasn't long before the Little League program began to grow as dedicated individuals volunteered to provide the Little League activities to the youth in their communities.

This year marks a very significant anniversary for the children in your league as you celebrate 50 years as a chartered Little League program. Not only is this an opportunity to celebrate the your in your community, it is an honor for me to present your league with it's 2019 Certificate of Charter and, in your special anniversary year, a Gold Certificate recognizing 50 years of continuous affiliation with Little League Baseball.

Through the principles concern of adults who provide a wholesome, supervised activity and hold genuine belief in the value of the Little League program, more than three million participants proudly wear the Little League emblem every summer. Your acceptance of this Charter is a pledge of faith to perpetuate this tradition your league began fifty years ago.
